I found this at Sam's Club, and this is definitely a better price. My husband got it for me for Christmas and I love it. Lovely graphics, interesting details, arranged by regions. This is definitely a great addition for any wildlife enthusiast.
Great gift for the nieces and nephews. I admit I had a good look at it first, though. This is a beautifully portrayed book based on continent and environments (water, jungle, savannah, prairie, etc).
Purchased this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He LOVES it. I catch him looking through it all the time reading up on some animal. Pictures are spectacular and it's a large book, perfect for a coffee table.
My son, now 17, is a walking and talking animal encyclopedia and has not put this book down. Beautiful images and plenty of not only interesting but very thoughtful and educational writing as well.
We bought this as a birthday present for my child's friend, and not only was a hit with the recipient, it a huge hit with all the kids (including mine!). Amazing book. It is bigger and weightier than I thought when I first ordered it -- a very substantial volume.

The book is one of the best wildlife books i have browsed lately. Great photos, good graphics and an easy organization. I have been so attracted to the book, that I have begin a project to read it from cover to cover. My children and grand children will enjoy it for years to come.
Books caught my eye at Costco. Checked price while standing in Costco and ordered them from Amazon on the spot. Arrived quickly with Prime. Books are so bright, informative, full of great information! I can't wait to peruse them all. We homeschool, so they are great resource books!
