David is a new friend of mine I've been communicating online with recently. I'm a massage school owner in the Midwest and I've seen many books on Mblex prep come and go. This gentleman is a master at organizing material to prepare you for the Mblex. I'd recommend all my students purchase this book. The 2019 version has improved from the previous edition, so if you have one of his older books you'll probably want to purchase this one. If you get this book and study it relentlessly, you'll pass the MBLEX painlessly regardless of your school's requirements and curriculum.
I love this! This book is very helpful with showing me how to study and it has online resources that I listen to such as lectures that I listen to in the way to school. I feel more confident in class .
If you find it difficult to comprehend the extreme amount of information required to pass this test, David Merlino's book has delivered this information finally in a way that makes it easy to remember especially with the amazing visuals showing the actual kinesiology (and all other subjects) rather than just explaining it. For anyone who has been out of school for any length of time, this guide will surpass all others in assisting you to recall all you learned in school and the main topics that most find difficult are broken down in such a way as to make it land without the frustration involved trying to remember unnecessary details. Beautifully structured and encompassing everything needed to really bring it home for anyone wanting to overcome the stress of passing this test. Not only that, but David has proven to be a man of impeccability and honor as you will see when you enter his paradigm mastering of the art of massage therapy. Thank you David. I wish you all the success possible in this endeavor to simplify what others make confusing and in educating people in a way that takes it to a whole new level paying field.
It did help some what with testing but was more reading and involved than I wanted for studying during crunch time. Good info to have though. Biggest reason for lower rating is the poor functionality of kindle using flashcards and notes (using either Windows App or IOS app) AND that I contacted the author asking questions and did not receive a reply. I "assumed" because I asked technical questions and/or because I had the free version at the time due to my Kindle trial. I reluctantly bought the digital version after my kindle subscription ended to keep the flashcards I made. Notes were automatically saved.
Well ladies and gentlemen, David has done it again! David's a certified genius in the way he breaks things down to the level where even elementary kids can understand it LOL! He truly has a gift. I cannot explain how much of a blessing his books have been to me and to any and every massage therapist that wants to pass the first time ! I highly highly recommend this book above any study guide out there....so get THE BOOK! Good luck to everyone!
I used this to study for my second attempt at the MBLEx. The author definitely put a lot of thought and effort into the material. He gives practical and effective test prep advice along with a detailed overview of the MBLEx. This test prep was responsible for me passing the exam second time around. Highly recommend.
Honestly, nothing out there compares to David Merlino's MBLEx Test Prep. It really took the pain away when it came to studying. Everything that I need to know is right there, explained thoroughly and shown properly. The author comes across as being very knowledgeable and is able to break this stuff down effectively.I've recommended this to all of my friends who were on the fence about study guides and so far they've all agreed with me!
