I've already had the previous edition of this book and I love it so much that I ordered this new edition too.In my opinion this is a must-have for any radiologist resident who needs the basics presented in a practical way, so that it can be readily used in daily work. I have hoarded quite a collection of handbooks, atlases and lengthy textbooks, but this is still the book that I go back to most often. It's full of useful info, presented in a fun and easily-digestible way and it gives you very great tips on how to differentiate between different lesions that look very similar (the hardest thing in practice and the absolute best thing about the whole book).The book comes with a code that you can use to register it, and afterwards you can read the whole content online everywhere or read it on your phone on your night-shifts.

I am a soon to graduate 4th year in medical school who just completed a month long radiology course. I got this book on a whim since I thought I was not learning enough. This book definitely taught me more than the whole month of staring at people read images. If you are looking for something that will teach you all the PRACTICAL basics that an INTERN will NEED to know when having to make a decision at 2am without the help of a radiologist, then look no further. This is the book for you. I have been telling all of my friends about it. It is a must-read.

Highly recommended by the Radiologist I shadowed for my last clinical rotation. Probably more information than I need as a Nurse Practitioner, but it will make a great reference to turn to when I need help translating the radiograph dictation results.

Throughout my medical training, I felt the basics were not taught well and it was difficult to find a through easy to understand resource. Look no further. This book is by far the best Radiology Basics resource I have encountered and makes relearning the basics fun. Highly recommended for anyone in Medicine.

This book is GREAT. Very good visuals with easy to understand text. I will definitely use this as a go/to resource as I am learning more about radiology in my FNP program.
