The book is a must read for anyone who thinks that global warming is one of the, if not the most serious issues facing mankind. It is a shocking discussion of what the scientific community knows is about to happen if we continue to destroy our habitat and our atmosphere. If you have children this book will provide you with some insight of what their world will be, that is what’s left of it. If this isn’t a call to action, I don’t know what is. Good luck.
It a serious, well-founded, clear attempt to paint the picture of what climate change will mean for the inhabitants of the earth. Although sobering, we are where we are and this is reality The book is not about the specifics of what to do, but rather what the world will most likely be like. Coming to grasp with this reality is essential to gaining broad support for doing what might be possible to mitigate the dangers ahead. If it were possible, this should be required reading for all climate change deniers and all who are knowledgeable on the subject.

While the content was fine, and appears true to the book, I had to stop reading in middle as there were missing words and poor grammar; it was often difficult to discern the meaning of many sentences. I'm very surprised that there are a number of reviews saying it's well-written.
